The tree is up!

The Nutcracker's have all found homes.

The stockings are hung....

and the garland is lit. AND...

(Having no other place for this little number) ...I decided to add this to Gavin's room. Which in turn caused me to have to buy this today:

because-"that is so NOT fair".

Now, we have a pink tinsely tree in Gray's room, complete with pink lights. Then, Gavin says- "that is so NOT fair, mine doesn't have lights."

Yah. You just can't win.

Look. Jimbo made the list. I am going to have to compile a list re-cap. Just so you all remember who is cool, you know. Just as soon as I remember, I will get on it.

The List

I reallllllly need to post. Realllllly. But, I'm back in the writers funk. You know so much in there, but just can't get it typed out.

Here's the excuse list as to why I have not blogged lately, but also are the exact things I need to blog about:

-End of football season
-Planning trip to Corn Maze & cookout for football team & parents
-5 Football games in 6 days
-Planning/ having end of the year football party for 50 tonight
-Getting Gray ready for a pageant the 21st
-Gray doing the fashion show a few weeks ago
-Volunteering at school in art class
-School conference
-My car being broken into, and allowing myself to be interviewed for the news about it

That's all I can think of now- and that all has happened in the last 13 days or so. Plus, you know, the other regular stuff. Stay tuned. I'll catch up at some point. Maybe.

Halloween Recap

Halloween: It was Gavin's last regular season football game against Coweta that morning. And they won. My parents and sister & husband, and nephew Hayden also came. Then later, my mom, sister and Hayden came over to trick or treat. Here's the gang. Yes, it's almost impossible to get all 3 to look decent in a pic. But we try.

Whew! That was a tough game.

After a trip over to the church for Trunk or Treat, then a few blocks in the neighborhood- we called it good. They all had fun of course- because they all love, love, love candy.
