Today it's Mcklinky Monday at theRHOK.com and it's about trips on a tankful. So I pulled out an oldie, because I already wrote about it, and, well, I'm lazy why be redundant.

Today we went on a road trip- me, the kids, the dog and my mom (aka, GiGi). The kids had SO much fun- they are already asking to go again. We went to Spavinaw State Park and Little Blue State Park- both over by Grand Lake. Both the creeks have clear water -and the water at Little Blue is also super cold (great for an almost triple digit day!). Both these places are great day trips- and we had a picnic lunch and the dog even somewhat enjoyed himself too. I took a ton of photos- more than are bloggable and you can view them BY CLICKING HERE.

The Blue Hole sounds all sorts of horrid on a day like today.
It is the perfect trip for a hot summer day, though. I don't think I could find it again if I tried!
I remember taking many a family camping trip to Spavinaw when I was a kid. Great place!!!

I'm going to have to take my family to Little Blue this year. It seems so much like Blue Hole (obviously everyone will get our two posts confused. LOL!)

We've been up there! The water is cold, but it feels sooooo good during the summer!
