My Garland Is Showing

Hello, Southern peeps. Today is Garland Show and Tell over at the Nester. So, here's mine.

It is very unconventional garland, as there is NO evergreen. There are grapevine ball lights, magnolias, berrys, and some other sparkle-y stuff. But, I like it. And with all the Nutcrackers up there, I don't think anything else would fit. Why, yes, I do have a lot of Nutcrackers.

I collect them. I have since 3rd grade or so when I danced it for the first time. Back in my town, the Civic Ballet danced the Nutcracker every year. I have danced with the Pioneer Woman in more than one production. We were both Arabians once. And a boyfriend was one that carried her out on the fancy Arabian bed, just like in Aladdin. Interesting, eh?

Thanks for visiting and sharing my garland veiwing. And, here, just for kicks- let me throw in one of those Nutcracker pictures.

Or two. Ahhh, good times, good times.

I LOVE unconventional, and yours is fabulous!!! LOVED the old photos of you in the nutcracker. I also did a post on going to the Nutcracker this year (old photos included too)! My married daughter and I took her two little girls a few weeks agao. But then I also shared two photos of when this same daughter and I took little sister for the first time when she turned 4 or 5. A blast from the past. : )
