This is my kindergarten's class picture...I found it the other day, and it brings back a lot of memories! Of the 23 kids, I can remember 16 of their names exactly. Some I think I know, but not quite sure. I labeled the ones I knew. Of those 16, 14 were in my graduating class of 434. And, that may not seem amazing to some- but I grew up in Bartlesville. Ye ol' Phillips 66 is where the majority of families were employed and they transferred people in and out all the time. I saw many friends go, and some even return, and go again! Of those 14 in this picture, 5 I am friends with on Facebook- so I have spoken with them recently. (Facebook and Twitter- where were you all my life?- Oh, that is another post) Anyway, I thought this would be a fun Fro' Me to You. And, I don't even want to point out that my Grayce will start Kindergarten exactly 30 (AHHHHHH) years after this photo was taken. Oh my gosh this picture is almost 30 years old. {crying out loudly, as if in child bearing pain}

You have some kind of memory! how awesome grow up in the same town like that....
I cannot even remember my teacher's name, let alone the kids!
I am impressed. I do not remember that many people from my K class.
Girl, you know I am about some facebook! I have loved getting in touch with folks from WAY back in the day. And, ummm, in 1979 I was in 6th grade.
That Facebook is a pretty amazing thing. I just went through my yearbook looking for Fro' pictures and thought I need to enter in all these names and see if they are out there. :)
It's cute that you labeled the people you remember!
I can remember 40% of those then..and I did post a pix like this but you where all girl and me ..well I was so tomboyish it was sad! :)
Wow. I can remember my kindergarten class and I can name exactly two of them - lol. Good for you. I agree about Facebook . . . . . I LOVE it!
Great memory. I can't remember anything about kindergarten. The whole aging thing is hard, isn't it? I'm going to be 32 this year and I'm still freaking out about being in my 30's.
I clicked on your pic before reading your post and thought to myself, how funny would it be if I was one of the pics?
Of course I didn't look at the little details, like the school or the year (i'd have been in 4th grade)
Oh well..........
I can't believe you remember all of those people. I pulled out my 5th grade yearbook and was struggling. Super cute photos though!
Love the picture! You were a cute kindergartner! I only remember a handful of people from kindy. That is cool that you still talk to some of them.
Yep, feeling the same way about facebook here! A group of about 20 of us that hung out in high school together have almost all reunited through FB -- we are just missing two people. It's pretty cool!
