The Big 4-0-0

Wow, 400 is a lot of posts.  And, unfortunately, I do not have anything poignant  or eloquent to say about it. Because, well, if you haven't noticed by now- I am not all that sappy.

What I am here to talk about is MAY and how I am growing to really not like this month. Somehow it has become the epitome of crazy. And me no likey the crazy.

Yesterday, I got the agenda for the last 4 days of school for my 4th grader.  It was like 5 paragraphs long and includes like 14 tests on Monday and Tuesday- Tuesday being the last day of school. This AFTER the weekend, when the boy has about 5 baseball games,  and both kids each have a birthday party to attend. Just on Tuesday it's our 14th Anniversary, dog grooming, mani-pedi, boy's baseball game, girl's dance class, & 3 months with out mama. OY. Not to mention we just did like 3 major projects this month alone for the boys class, including another diorama. I HATE diorama's y'all. You don't know what that is? Well, look it up. I had to...

Oh, was that snippy of me? Deal with it. I am not in a pleasant mood.

I have 3 days left of  kids in school. From the way they have been acting, my house will be completely trashed in about 6 hours as of next Wednesday, and they will be grounded for the week. Good thing on the 26th, we have a RHOK out scheduled with the RHOK stars. We did that on purpose- knowing that we all might be in need of a cocktail.

We're going to trivia night at Louie's and will have a celebratory cosmo, before hitting the midnight screening of SATC2. (Speaking of  SATC2, we get to review and giveaway a soundtrack over at the RHOK next week- so stay tuned! Also, don't forget we are giving away a RHOK tee shirt on Monday!)

While I am looking very forward to summer time, this time it's bittersweet- for many reasons. Hopefully my children will learn relaxation.  I want to enjoy what we want to do in between all we have to do.

But, if you don't hear from me for awhile- you should send the proper authorities. Because I left for Crazytown.
