I don't even think I need to make any further description of this lovely laceyness. Lawsy mercy. And the hair. Oh, ode to perm solution and hairspray. The 8th grade sweetheart dance awaited us (Shannon, Me, Julie, & Lyndsae) in February 1988.

Loved the title of this post! And I hate when I see pictures and realized I'm a bit *ahem* older than other bloggers. But you'll were rockin' the 80's look~~~
PS: your comment section worked fine for me
Holy cow.
So much LACE! My eyes are burning! TOO MUCH SWEETNESS!!!!
(but actually? Y'all look adorable)
Thanks for Fro'n today. You always bring it!
love looking at old pictures from proms, dances etc and see how the style has changed we do not realize it is happening when we live through it but it is the pictures that hold such secrets
We are about the same age and I sooooooo remember those days! And your necklace...so popular back in the day!
Oh my that IS a lot of lace. For the 80s tho, you were looking good! :-)
Wow! That brings a whole new meaning to lace doily... y'all looked hawt!
Oh! I had one of those! It was Mom's, and she expected me to wear it. In 1995.
You know, those dresses look so bad by today's standards, but I remember back then thinking they were so sweet paired up with manes of curly, rat-comb teased hair. I had a few Laura Ashley butt-bow specials myself.
LOLOLOL, I'm loving those HUGE collars!
