Monday MckLinky: How did he propose?
Wow. This is a boring short story to tell. So, in order to spice it up, I am making it into a math story problem-- so pay attention. We had dated 2 months, (our first date was 12-6-94) when he told me on the phone he wanted to marry me. We looked for a ring and he saved up for awhile, then he bought the ring. I was there, it didn't fit of course. So, after about a week, it was sized & ready to be picked up. That was in August of 1995. He did ask again with the ring in hand to be official. But there was no element of surprise or grandeur. Obviously, I said yes. We were married May 25, 1996. When we were both 21. We are the same age for precisely 1 month and 3 days. We were married 22 days after his birthday, and 12 days before mine. Now, you do the math and that'll tell you what today is.

You are so very clever! However, I now have a headache! I hate math.
BTW ~ Tell him Happy Birthday!
Ummmmm ... it's Monday morning and I'm not up to math problems just yet! :) I think maybe the dramatic proposals are more the exception than the rule. What matters is that we love each other and stay together. At least I hope that's true because my story was pretty similar to yours. :)
nope, my brain won't let do the math today.
But congrats!
Happy B-Day to the DH!!! What a great day for this post!!!
Our anniversaries are close- We were married May 22! But,yikes on the other math!(always been my worst subject-especially on a monday morning ;)
But,according to your other comments I think I need to say Happy Birthday to your husband :)
So, today is your hubby's birthday? I do math all day, but sometimes the simplest things stump me. If so, Happy Birthday to your DH!
Cute little story! We can't all have a Mrs. Albright proposal!
Cute twist on your story there Aubree! =)
Happy Birthday to your husband.
I'm enjoying reading everyone's stories, no matter how big or small they are.
~Mrs. Albright
Short, but sweet. Sweet enough for me anyway. :)
I'm not willing to try math so I'll just assume they are right. Happy birthday to your husband.
Tell your hubby happy birthday. This sounds like our 2nd engagement! lol...
OUCH...my brain hurts...
