First Trip to Big Splash for the Summer!

This is our 3rd year to get passes to Big Splash. Passes are the only way to go- otherwise no one could afford to go! The kids were looking forward to it. We could only stay awhile since Gavin plays another tournament game tonight- but they had fun, and I had enough sun for the day. You must break in the pure white skin slowly!

Non-Kid Pics

I used to take photos of non-child related items. Anyone remember I used to take pictures for the O'Colly?? That was a long time ago! I think I made some unreal wage like $2.70 an hour, plus $5 a published pic. That is sad! The other day, I thought these looked interesting...so I snapped a few.

More H2O Fun

These photos were "requested" by the children so they could see themselves dumping water on their heads. Not sure why sometimes it takes so little to amuse them.

Landscaping Done!

For the past umpteen weekends we have been slaving to get our landscape back in shape...so here is the proof of all of our sweat, 10 bags and 2 truck loads of mulch, and a lot of planting for color, re-shaping hedges, and trying to get bermuda not to grow where it isn't suppose to, while trying to get it to grow where it is suppose to! We had some "help" from the kids...but pretty much- they are landscaping wimps. Grayce thought is was too hot when we were just at Lowe's!

Dawn & Craig's Wedding

Joe's cousin Craig was married to Dawn on 5/3 (Joe's birthday). It was held at the Pawnee Lake Bath House.

Tornado at The Farm

Here are two photos Joe's dad took from the tornado that passed about 250 yards from their house north of Pawnee. I sent to channel 2 and then meteorologist George Waldenburger called me to ask about it to get it on the air. Joe's dad talked to him too, and meteorologist George Flickinger had both photos on the air on the weekend broadcast! Joe's dad is very excited about the publicity :-)!

Gavin Got the Game Ball!

Here is Gavin with his game ball from the game 5-1-08 against the Braves! He made 4 outs- 2 pop catches and a couple of throw outs at first. He also had some great hits!
