From the iPod: A Seinfeldish Post

Since I'm sick with the -itis' and the infected toothpick punture wound- I'm blogging from my iPod 'cause I won't be able to sleep... but other people are sleeping in there by my computer. I spent the evening trying to redesign and make it look un-Valentinsey on the blog. And then, did not have the time to actually write a post. That and there were 243 loads of laundry to fold. I managed to accomplish quite a bit today since all the meds have made it hard to sleep, and my nose bleed. This despite the fact they are suppose to make me drowsy, really they just made me cranky.

Wow. This has quickly turned into a post about absolutely nothing.

And now I have heartburn from the ginormous pill I have to take for an antibiotic. I also got a shot, by the way- which I think is really helping the sinusitis. Sadly, I cannot remember what the name of it was. My finger is not fairing so well, however. It is still stabbing & throbbing with pain and re- bleeding. That can't be good can it? I am really prone to random injuries that turn into much more complicated matters. Sometime I'll tell y'all about the time my embroidery machine put a needle clean through my middle finger bone. And broke off. With thread hanging out.

See? Bet you can hardly wait for the rest if that one.

More Valentine's Day...

Here is little miss with her V-day box she worked hard on to make "sparkly". This was during her party yesterday.

Here are just some of the roses that hubs and the kids sent me yesterday. He said he ordered red roses and chocolates, but I got a dozen assorted colors - which are just gorgeous (and no chocolate). But, I think it's just fine.

Here's Gav at his party today. His class made bookmarks and ate A LOT of cupcakes. Gray's class got more cupcakes today, you know because they didn't have enough yesterday, and all. All in all I am pretty Valentinesed out and it isn't even here yet!

A Little Pre-Valentine's Day Cuteness

This compliments of my Grayce. I am not sure why the hedgehog has such mean lookin eyebrows, but, it's a great drawing of her. Jack the dog's face also brings me much joy. Us girls up top, have our crowns on- if your wondering. ;-) Happy ValeNnNeis Day from my 4 year old arteest.

Wordless Wednesday: Birthday Invites

A few words: These invites I did for my cousin's litte girl and for my Grayce. The have close birthdays, and I saved time. But, I thought they turned out pretty cute! Both girls will surely have great FUN!

Outside Fun

After the busy weekend I had, I was happy it was nice out on Sunday! The kids enjoyed some time outside and Grayce took her white tiger for a ride on the plasma car.

Such a change from the ice we had last week!

Gavin and Dad played some catch, as baseball will start soon. He's a lefty.

Yesterday, though, it all caught up to me and I was wiped out- a true Monday! And on a random note--*Just want to mention how I am so happy all the Blissdom ladies had so much fun at the blogging conference, but I am so sad I missed it! I now have about 2347 things to read, too- so that is going to take me awhile. Can y'all stop writing till I get caught up?*

Big Trouble to Boot...

Ya'll. What is goin on at G2's school the last 2 days for her boots to come home lookin like this. She has "no idea" how it happened. Yo. This is some serious damage not to remember. Before school today when she wanted to wear these below- I told her she had to be VERY careful. And I even mentioned the boot damage to her teacher, in front of G2- so she would maybe know I meant to be REALLY careful. You can see how that worked out for me.

The brown pair were from last year, so its not SO bad. Except they are her favorites. The black pair, on the other hand, I bought on Tuesday. Yes, Tuesday. She wore them on Tuesday, and they came home fine. Wednesday and Thursday this week must have contained some serious roughing. I have repaired them as best I can, so they don't look as obviously tacky. Not sure about this one. She may be banned to ugly shoes at school.

Fro' Me to You Thursday: The Olden Days

My son is always asking me about the "olden days". Yeah, I don't know either. I am always quick to reply- I did not live in the olden days, so I do not know. These pictures of his dad and I are evidently, from the said "olden days". I think we were both 7th or 8th grade. Obviously, not from the same town- we didn't meet until college. But they sit together on the top of the computer amoire. Why? I don't remember really. I probably thought it was a cute idea when we got married like 13 years ago. Anyway, at the moment is serves as a sore reminder that I had some great legs in the olden days, that were apparently a lot tanner than the undersides of my arms.
