If we were playing Jeopardy, the question to that answer would be "How many birthday parties have your kids attended or been invited to in the last month?" Yes, 12 (updated after school today=12, not 11.) Five of those 11, er 12, are this weekend. All of them- except one- are or were for boys. Clearly the fall is for birthing a lot of boys. Of all the parties, only 2 have conflicted. The conflict is on Sunday when I will be taking the girl to one, and Dad will be taking the boy to another. We have partied or will party at houses, overnight "camping", bowling, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a park, a roller rink, laser tag, and 2 inflatable jumping places. Yeah, after the 6th or so invite, I delcared it pure insanity. At this rate we will have to start a whole line of budget for party attendance. Luckily, I do own a shirt making business and 3rd grade boys really like hooded sweatshirts with their football numbers and the school logo on them. Pre-k boys are going to like shirts too, I just know it!
